Josh Parker, the Head of Sustainability for NVIDIA, is the featured guest this week on the Impact Podcast with John Shegerian to share insights on NVIDIA’s sustainability initiatives and AI’s role in sustainability in general.

The Webby Award honored podcast is hosted by John Shegerian, Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO of ERI, the nation’s largest material resource recovery, ITAD and electronics recycling company.

Parker leads Corporate Sustainability at NVIDIA. An engineer and a lawyer, he believes following the data wherever it leads is critical for an effective sustainability program.

On the podcast, Parker also shares the background of his own personal career path, his role at NVIDIA, and how the company helps other organizations achieve their sustainability goals. He also described the significant potential AI brings to the sustainability table.

“The applications of AI for the common good are just dramatic,” commented Parker. “And it’s really hard to imagine a sustainability initiative that doesn’t have significant potential to benefit from the application of AI.”

“It was an honor and a privilege to have the insightful and innovative Josh Parker on the podcast,” said Shegerian. “The conversation we had was timely, eye-opening and informative. I know our audience will enjoy and get a lot out of the discussion. We look forward to return visits from Josh and his NVIDIA colleagues in the future.”

Impact Podcast guests are invited to share with listeners first-hand accounts of how they are able to help make the world a better place on a daily basis.

The Impact Podcast with John Shegerian is available for listening on ImpactPodcast.com, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Audible, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Pandora, and as part of iHeartRadio’s digital broadcast.
