DANVERS, Mass., Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CCC (Copyright Clearance Center), a pioneer in voluntary collective licensing, will host “2026 Copyrighted Content Usage Trends: How AI Workflows Are Driving Content Usage and Risk,” a free LinkedIn Live event, on Tuesday, September 22 at 11:00 am ET. Virtual attendees will be given an exclusive first look at the results of the 2026 Copyrighted Content Usage Trends Report, a collaboration between CCC and leading research and advisory firm Outsell, Inc.
The event, moderated by CCC Vice President and Managing Director Lauren Tulloch, will feature Grant Hunter, SVP, Outsell Intelligence, and CCC Legal Advisor Roanie Levy, who will explore the results and consider how executives – and the compliance, legal, and information professionals who support them – can translate the report insights into action.
“AI has fundamentally changed how copyrighted content moves through the enterprise,” said Tulloch. “Third-party content is no longer just shared between colleagues; it is regularly fed into AI tools for a variety of employee tasks.”
Since 2007, CCC and Outsell have tracked the velocity of content: how often professionals share published material, with how many people, and through which channels. The 2025 Outsell Study was the first to include AI questions, and the findings warranted a closer look. Subsequently, the 2026 Study provides new data on how third-party content enters AI workflows, how often the outputs are shared, and with whom, offering a benchmark for leaders examining their own enterprise practices.
