BROOMFIELD, Colo., Oct. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gogo (NASDAQ: GOGO) has signed a sovereign-based communications lease in excess of $15 million USD to provide geostationary (GEO) satellite connectivity to a government customer.

For aircraft carrying government leaders, communications must remain continuously dependable and trustworthy no matter where they fly. The GEO solution ensures global connectivity, even in areas like Russia, China, and India where low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite services are restricted.

“This renewal reflects the confidence built through years of reliable performance and responsive support,” says Christopher Moore, Chief Executive Officer for Gogo. “The connectivity gives this customer a proven high performance GEO solution, backed by people who understand the demands of sovereign customers and are available around the clock.” Gogo’s global support team monitors and assists customers in multiple languages 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and can send a specialized technician to the tarmac within 24 hours, if needed.

The customer’s decision also reflects the importance they place on cybersecurity and data privacy. “At Gogo, our philosophy is to minimize data retention and collect only the information necessary to manage, deliver and support our services. If information is not essential to delivering the service, it is not our business,” adds Moore. Gogo provides continuous network monitoring, advanced protections, as well as specialized training for operators and flight departments on cybersecurity.
