The home remodeler’s unique culture is recognized as one of the best for the U.S. workforce’s largest generation demographic
Power Home Remodeling (“Power”), the nation’s leading exterior home remodeler, has been recognized as one of the 2023 Best Workplaces for Millennials by Great Place To Work® and Fortune magazine, marking the company’s seventh year on the coveted list. Coming in at #21, Power rose 15 spots from its last ranking, establishing itself as one of the top companies for Millennials in the country — the generation that represents the largest majority of today’s workforce.
To determine the Fortune Best Workplaces for Millennials™ List, Great Place To Work collected nearly 500,000 responses from millennials at companies eligible for the list — a list that is highly competitive. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier.
“The value that Millennials place on finding purpose inside of their work aligns particularly well with what Power offers and promotes,” said Asher Raphael, Power’s co-CEO. “This recognition marks a proud, but not satisfied moment. Proud for how far we’ve come as an employer, but not satisfied because of the work left to do.”
Raphael and Power co-CEO Corey Schiller are millennials themselves, who continue to create a work environment that’s community-oriented, equitable, and fulfilling — and survey results show that employees agree. Power received a 96% rating in the category of fair treatment, a 95% rating in the community category, and a 92% rating in employees’ sense of pride in their work.
“With the largest share of the workforce today, the workplace experience of millennials says a lot about your organization,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “These workers are looking for authentic leadership, meaningful work, and a healthy work environment — and they show loyalty to those who can deliver.”
This award comes on the heels of the company’s placement at #13 on the 2023 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list. In previous years, Power has also been recognized on the Great Place To Work's Best Workplaces for Parents™ list.
