Paul Lange, the Democratic Candidate to Represent the People of Illinois 15th Congressional District, Launches New Site for House Campaign

Quincy, IL - (NewMediaWire) - August 3, 2022 - The 2020 census had a major impact on the state of Illinois. Among the many changes it brought was the loss of one congressional district and the emergence of a new 15th District. The district was created extending across the central portion of the state to now incorporate some parts of the previous 13th and 15h districts. Paul Lange is the Democratic candidate to represent the people of Illinois in the newly formed 15th Congressional District.

To make known his key areas of focus and create more room for interaction, Paul Lange 2215 has launched a new website. The new site provides an opportunity for Paul’s supporters to engage with his campaign and donate to his cause. It is the focus of the campaign's online fundraising and grassroots volunteer efforts. Supporters are already using the new site to donate and book fundraising and speaking engagements.

The new website allows supporters to schedule meet-and-greets to learn more about his campaign. Supporters can host such meetings allowing Paul and his team to go to them, listen to their needs, and brainstorm on the best way to represent them on the ballot. Through the site, Paul’s supporters can also subscribe to an email list where they can get information including event updates and other news. The site also allows for online donations through partner ActBlue. In the coming weeks, the site will highlight a new interview-style podcast with residents of the district along with interactive constituent surveys to gather input.

Paul hopes to strengthen Social Security and make affordable healthcare available to all Americans. He hopes to level the playing field for small businesses by removing health care concerns so that they can then focus on their core strengths, attract talent and keep jobs in their local communities.

After losing his father, Paul and 5 siblings were raised by his mother who was assisted by Social Security. Through this, Paul understands the major influence that the government has in shaping the lives of its people at the grassroots level. On the new site, he explains his belief in the need to build an economic base that works for everyone. Paul has lived in Quincy since 1974  and has witnessed the economic changes that have occurred over time, and how they have affected the people. He is familiar with what has worked and would work for the people of the 15th District. He describes his concern for the corporate monopolies contributing to runaway inflation. Being aware of how these large corporations have heaped piles of debt on the ordinary people, he supports the American Rescue Plan and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act in restoring economic power to the people.

Paul had this to say on the new website for his campaign, “I'm Paul Lange and I'm running to represent the people of the new Illinois 15th Congressional District. I want to give people in this new district a choice and a real voice by fighting for economic opportunity, voting rights, and health care.”

One of the key issues that Paul is passionate about and speaks of on the new site is the restoration of power to the people of the district. He believes that society is living in a time when the minority interests of corporations and radical political movements are imposing their will on the majority of the people who want better. Paul aims to make the government responsive to the needs and the will of the people. He supports the use of citizen referendums to make sure that the needs of the people are addressed on the ballot. He is also a supporter of the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Right Act.
