The All-New 12V 100Ah Pro LiFePO4 Battery takes Safety & Practicality to a Whole New Level.

December 6, 2023 - Renogy, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions based in the US, introduced the latest addition to its lineup - the Pro series power storage, debuting with the 12V 100Ah Pro Series LiFePO4 Battery. This all-new LFP battery combines the convenience of self-heating, the simplicity of Bluetooth, and the reliability of safety features into a new, compact design to deliver a trusted off-grid power experience. Launched officially on November 6th, 2023, the new 12V 100Ah Pro LiFePO4 Battery is currently available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia.

“Despite the inherent advantages of LiFePO4 batteries in safety, the potential risks with lithium batteries can't be overlooked if they are mishandled or abused.” stated the spokesperson of Renogy, while announcing the launch of this new 12V battery. “We understand the challenges faced by off-grid communities and adventure seekers, especially in extreme weather conditions. Hence, our R&D team strives to engineer a new LFP battery with comprehensive protection for remote living and adventure enthusiasts, whenever and wherever they choose to live off the grid.”

The Renogy 12V 100Ah Pro LiFePO4 Battery comes equipped with a double active safety system, including 60+ battery management system (BMS) protection and active backup protection, to safeguard batteries from potential mechanical, electrical, thermal, or other kinds of abuse. Compared with most LFP batteries that come with 20 industrial grade BMS protection, this Pro battery offers 200% more protection & alerts to help monitor voltage, temperature, and current accurately. In the meantime, active backup protection acts as the second line of defense if key hardware components fail when a risk is detected, bringing off-grid power safety to the next level.

With a built-in heating pad and an extra 4A charging current, the 12V 100Ah Pro battery generates warmth 20% faster than other LFP batteries its size, preventing irreversible cell damage in freezing temperatures. In addition, the Pro battery also features a UL94 V-0 fire-retardant casing and IP67-rating, delivering all-round protection for activities ranging from RV, ice fishing to remote cabin getaways across various seasons.

"The Renogy Pro LiFePO4 Battery embodies our commitment to innovation and safety. It has passed through rigorous tests with comprehensive standards, including UL1973 for battery cells, MSDS, UN38.3, FCC, CE, PSE, and UKCA." the spokesperson added while talking about the highlight of the new lineup. "We are thrilled to introduce a game-changing solution that empowers off-grid living and adventures, ensuring uninterrupted power supply and peace of mind."

The integration of Bluetooth enables energy monitoring through the DC Home app, allowing easy tracking of remaining capacity, voltage, current, and other essential information. Furthermore, the Pro battery supports over-the-air (OTA) updates, promising continual enhancement and unlocking future features for optimal performance.
