Proposed 5,000+ Acre Campus in Carson County, Near Amarillo, with Hyperscaler Expected to Anchor; Capital Also to Expand Fiber Optic Production Capacity

InfraTech Capital, an infrastructure investment and operating platform, today announced it is advancing a proposed investment of approximately $2.7 billion in a large-scale data center campus spanning more than 5,000 acres in Carson County, Texas, near Amarillo.

The investment is being structured alongside a consortium of leading institutional investors, with a major hyperscaler expected to serve as anchor tenant, reflecting the scale of capital required to meet digital infrastructure demand. The counterparty, anchor tenant and co-investors remain undisclosed pending completion of due diligence.

As part of the initiative, InfraTech Capital is also advancing capital into expanded fiber optic cable manufacturing capacity, including new production lines with a major global manufacturing partner, supporting the fiber requirements associated with the data center platform and other large-scale digital infrastructure projects.

“This initiative reflects the scale and conviction InfraTech Capital brings to digital infrastructure,” said Luiz Fuschini, President & CEO of InfraTech Capital. “A campus of this scale represents exactly the kind of long-term infrastructure our platform is built to support, while our parallel investment in fiber optic production ensures the network layer keeps pace. We are proud to help build the backbone the digital economy will depend on for years to come.”

InfraTech Capital expects to disclose further details, including the identities of its data center partner, fiber optic supply partner and co-investors, upon completion of due diligence and finalization of definitive agreements.
