Coke Florida surpasses $1.5M in support for Habitat for Humanity
Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida), continues its partnership with Habitat for Humanity as it completes construction on two new single-family homes by the end of June. Construction is underway in Tampa with Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County and in Spring Hill with Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside. The Spring Hill project represents the very first Habitat for Humanity home build in the county.

Coke Florida associates volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to support the home building and landscaping efforts at the new home.
Since the company’s founding in 2015, Coke Florida has maintained a commitment to empowering underserved communities by providing the foundation for families to build a viable and sustainable future. This commitment focuses on Economic Empowerment, which is one of the company’s community pillars designed to assist in creating stability and self-reliance within the communities it serves. The company is proud to support Habitat’s efforts by providing funding and volunteerism through our associate base. To date, Coke Florida associates have contributed more than 3,400 hours of service supporting construction activities.

Home builds supported by the company include a sustainability component as well which encourages water stewardship. A rain barrel system, constructed using repurposed 50-gallon syrup drums from the company's manufacturing process, are installed to help conserve water usage and reduce stormwater runoff by collecting and storing rainwater to be reused to water plants and shrubbery.
