Elliptic Labs and Xiaomi Announce the Poco M5s Smartphone for the Global Market

Elliptic Labs (OSE: ELABS), a global AI software company and the world leader in AI Virtual Smart Sensors™, is announcing another launch of its AI Virtual Proximity Sensor™ INNER BEAUTY^® with Xiaomi, the third-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. This Xiaomi Poco M5s smartphone, launched for the global market, is the latest collaboration with Elliptic Labs. Working with another Elliptic Labs partner, MediaTek, the Xiaomi Poco M5s is powered by the Helio G95 chipset. Elliptic Labs announced the contract for this release last year.

Elliptic Labs’ AI Virtual Proximity Sensor detects when a user holds their phone up to their ear during a call, allowing the smartphone to turn off its display and disable its screen’s touch functionality.
