Fivetran, the global leader in modern data integration, today announced that it has received the 2021 Google Cloud Global Technology Partner of the Year award. Fivetran was recognized for the company’s achievements in the Google Cloud ecosystem, helping joint customers easily move data into BigQuery through its secure and reliable data pipeline managed service.

On average, Fivetran is moving 8+ TB of data daily for customers leveraging the Google Cloud BigQuery data warehouse. Fivetran optimizes BigQuery adoption by helping Google Cloud users centralize disparate data sources, leveraging the tremendous power of BigQuery at scale to help customers make more informed business decisions.

For example, Nando’s, the multinational food chain with over 1,000 locations, turned to Fivetran and Google Cloud to modernize their data stack and make more data-driven decisions around their marketing strategy. “Fivetran and Google Cloud enabled us to see how the business is performing on a granular level, from the most profitable restaurants to what customers are ordering,” said Miguel Puig Garcia, Technical Lead at Nando’s. “As a result, we used to spend 80% of the time moving data over to build campaigns; that’s fallen to 20%. It means we can focus more on building engaging emails and making sure we have the data back from campaigns to analyze.”

“We’re delighted to recognize Fivetran as our Global Technology Partner of the Year,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, Corporate VP, Global Ecosystem and Channels. “This award recognizes Fivetran’s commitment to providing customers with best in class data-collection and ELT solutions that help organizations securely manage and leverage data as they grow.“

Over the past year, Fivetran has invested to enhance the user experience for Google Cloud customers. Fivetran now offers multiple integrations with Google Cloud, including the ability to launch Fivetran connectors from within the Google Cloud environment, and the ability to discover, purchase and implement the Fivetran data integration solution from within the Google Cloud Marketplace.

As a result of the company’s acquisition of HVR in September 2021, Fivetran provides Google Cloud customers reliable SAP database replication as part of its efforts with Google Cloud Cortex Framework. In addition, Fivetran now offers support for Databricks on Google Cloud.

“Our partnership with Google Cloud builds on the ethos of Fivetran — that cloud-first, fully managed data services should not only be robust and powerful, but also easy to use,” said Anthony Brooks-Williams, Executive President at Fivetran. “It’s an incredible honor to be recognized by Google Cloud as the Google Cloud Technology Partner of the Year. We look forward to continuing to expand our relationship and help more customers unlock new opportunities and accelerate business outcomes.”
