KinderCare is Hiring Teachers for Early Childhood Education Centers Across the U.S.

Winner of Gallup’s Exceptional Workplace award for five years in a row expects to hire record number of teachers in 2021

As the nation emerges from the pandemic and many families adjust to changes in their workplace, there's an increased demand for child care in communities across the country. As a result, KinderCare is currently hiring a record number of teachers for KinderCare Learning Centers® across the country.

“Throughout the pandemic we’ve remained committed to upholding a culture where people love what they do and who they work with,” said Tom Wyatt, CEO of KinderCare. “That level of commitment shows in the incredible interactions our teachers have every day with the children and families they support.”

In 2021 KinderCare earned the Gallup Exceptional Workplace award for the fifth year in a row, one of only four employers worldwide to do so. The award recognizes companies that create an extraordinary environment for their employees.

“As a working mom myself, I am so proud of the role KinderCare plays in supporting families, especially parents looking to find a balance between being a parent and being an employee, no matter where they work,” said Jessica Harrah, senior vice president of human resources for KinderCare. “The Gallup Exceptional Workplace award affirms our efforts to create a strong culture of positive and caring employees who are passionate about the work they do. We’re especially honored to be one of only four companies worldwide to win this award five years in a row. We can’t wait to welcome new employees to the KinderCare family and introduce them to our incredible culture.”

For more than 50 years, KinderCare has created safe, nurturing environments in centers across the country where kids can learn, grow and build confidence for life. KinderCare focuses on encouraging children’s natural curiosity to learn and providing high-quality early childhood education and care programs in a setting with industry-leading health and safety practices. Since the beginning of the pandemic KinderCare leaders have worked closely with a panel of doctors and medical experts, the CDC and local health departments to ensure they’re doing everything possible to keep our teachers, children and communities safe through enhanced health and safety protocols.

KinderCare offers employees a variety of benefits, including health insurance, education assistance, paid time off and a 401(k) with company match. The company also offers employees significantly reduced child care rates through the KCE Kids Benefit.
