The Bleiburger B2B Messe – Wirtschafts-Messe and Traid Fair in Bleiburg, Austria, is over
Companies looking for new business partners and information on exporting to Austria presented themselves at the B2B Messe Bleiburg – Export to Austria, which took place on 11.5.2022 and 12.5.2022. The first day of the fair was dedicated to pre-planned meetings between companies, while the second day was also open to the general public.
The general part of the fair started on 12.5.2022 with an opening speech by entrepreneur Jurij Cvikl. The fair was opened by Primoz Kokovica, Director of the Bleiburg – Pliberk Cultural Centre, and Margareta Jager, Director and entrepreneur of Termont Metal. In addition to the exhibitors and the public, Silvo Kumer, Head of the Austrian Wirtschaftsverein Bleiburg-Pliberk, was also present at the opening.
The visitors were particularly impressed by the exhibitors from Slovenia: Boris Vehovec Mizarstvo, Termont Metal, KoHa Andrej Kohne, Roger Vesna – Roger Violins, Marcelino, Marjetica Cvikl, Mizarstvo Kupec, Monique beauty point, Optimist Iztok Šeško, Sepra Commerce, Biomi and Veg4Family, AT Marketing Andreja Bertoncelj, Eco Digital and Gabaroni, Rogaška SPA Clinic and Peti element, MCA Wintergarden and Wrap The Beast.
The fair was attended by more than 50 representatives of companies and prospective partners from Austria and, of course, also by visiting consumers.

The May 2022 edition of the fair was particularly important as it marked the start of a new funding period for Interreg European projects, which promotes cross-border cooperation. Interreg Europe is the only EU programme that helps regional authorities across Europe to work together on such a wide range of topics. Therefore, one of the exhibitors’ objectives was to find not only buyers but also partners with whom they can develop new business ideas and draw on EU funding through joint projects.
