Morpheus Studios, a company specializing in the development and application of XR/AR and generative AI technologies for content planning and production, announced the official launch of its AI content creation platform, AICRON (aicron.io), on February 26. Coinciding with the launch, it also introduced updated features, including video editing capabilities. This is drawing significant attention as it marks the first time that such a feature has been integrated into a single AI platform.

Originally launched as an open beta version last October, AICRON is an AI-powered platform designed to produce commercial-quality images and videos. It integrates more than 200 continuously updated AI models, including Seedream, Nano Banana, Seedance, Veo, Kling, and Sora, under one account. By bringing all of them together on a single platform, AICRON eliminates the need for multiple individual subscriptions.

The platform boasts a node-based workflow architecture in which all work units are organized as nodes. It enables the entire creative process, from text input to final video output, to be executed seamlessly within a single canvas environment. This node-based system represents an innovative workflow model, allowing users to visualize the entire process at a glance and edit each stage with ease. However, due to its technical sophistication, such an architecture is currently available on only a limited number of platforms.

AICRON also offers specialized video utilities, including a conversational AI assistant that generates optimized prompts for image and video production, as well as a workflow-sharing function designed to facilitate collaboration. Notably, the newly introduced video editing capability remains unavailable in other generative AI video services. The company said that AICRON marks the nation’s first platform to offer functionalities not currently supported by competing services.

Sean Lee, CEO of Morpheus Studios, described the platform’s utilities as “the fruitful results of direct planning, design, and consultation with leading Korean video professionals.” Sean Lee has served as a VFX producer on Korean major films such as KUNDO: Age of the Rampant and The Berlin File. He was also involved in Hollywood productions including The Forbidden Kingdom and Stoker. Vice President Jae-hwan Ryu, who received multiple technical awards for his work as a VFX supervisor on Korean films including Road to Boston, Swing Kids, and The Restless, led AICRON’s planning and development. In addition, industry experts participated as advisors, including Kim Sung-soo, director of 12.12: The Day, one of the six highest-grossing Korean films of all time, and Shine, a renowned advertising director behind major Korean advertising campaigns.
