Strata Identity to Host Tear Down and Modernization Webinar for Legacy Identity Infrastructures

Leading experts to share insights on using orchestration to re-architect aging identity and access management environments

Strata Identity, the Identity Orchestration company, today announced it will host a free webinar on how to tear down outdated IAM architectures and replace legacy identity and access management (IAM) services with modern, cloud identity providers (IDPs). The session will bring together recognized IAM experts to discuss the challenges associated with modernizing aging identity systems and provide insights and best practices for using orchestration technology to migrate to cloud IDPs without rewriting application code.

WHO: Moderator:

Mark Callahan, Senior Director of Product Marketing at Strata Identity, has extensive experience in the identity space. He previously served in Equifax’s Identity, Fraud, and Compliance products division and spent eight years at Twitter (now X) working on the Enterprise Data and Developer Platform.

Presenters:

Granville Schmidt, Chief Architect at Strata Identity, has over 17 years of engineering leadership, distributed systems, and security experience. He previously served as an architect at F5 within the Office of the CTO, as the Chair of JavaScript Security (TG3), and in various other engineering and security leadership roles, including multiple founding roles.

Adam Callen, CIO and Co-founder of Nyedis. If it has to do with identity management, Adam has probably done it. He has worked on identity projects spanning most of the major enterprise applications for large enterprise clients over the past 15 years. Adam is also the host of the Nyedis Anarchy Series podcast, which provides expert insight into identity and access management, enterprise cloud security, web3, and much more.

WHAT: Titled “IAM Architecture Tear Downs,” this webinar will explore the complexities associated with dismantling legacy IAM infrastructures and replacing them with modern cloud IDPs. The panelists will discuss:

  • The business benefits of using identity orchestration to bridge multi-generational identity services for a cohesive architecture
  • How an identity orchestrator can scale IAM projects quickly, adapt to future changes, and ensure continuous app availability
  • Real-world, before-and-after identity modernization scenarios that implemented orchestration to transform legacy identity infrastructures

Attendees will gain actionable insights that can be applied to their organization’s IAM strategy for achieving resilient and scalable identity.

WHEN: Thursday, Sep. 5, 2024, at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT.

WHERE: Online Webinar delivered to your device.

About Strata Identity

Strata Identity is the leader in Identity Orchestration for multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud. The orchestration recipe-powered Maverics platform enables organizations to integrate and control incompatible identity systems with an identity fabric that does not change the user experience or require rewriting apps. Maverics also provides identity continuity that prevents application outages by failing over to an alternate on-premises or cloud IDP when the primary IDP goes offline. By decoupling applications from identity, Maverics makes it possible to implement modern authentication, like passwordless, and enforce consistent access policies without refactoring apps. The company’s founders created the IDQL (Identity Query Language) standard and Hexa open-source software for multi-cloud policy orchestration and are co-authors of the SAML standard for SSO federation.
