Tyler Technologies State Partners Receive 2023 Government Experience Awards from the Center for Digital Government

Iowa and Kentucky win project experience awards in seventh annual competition

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) is proud to announce that its Iowa and Kentucky state partners have won 2023 Project Experience Awards in the Center for Digital Government’s Government Experience Awards.

The Government Experience Awards recognize the achievements of states, cities, and counties that excel at creating valuable online government services and applications. The Center for Digital Government is a national research and advisory institute that sets information technology policies and standards for measuring best practices in state and local government.

Project Experience Awards recognize a single focus area and can include more than one interaction channel. Iowa and Kentucky were awarded for their state-related projects, developed in partnership with Tyler.

The Iowa Department of Management, in collaboration with Tyler, worked together to create the web-based Pandemic Recovery Report. Built using Tyler’s Enterprise Data and Open Data Platforms, this searchable and interactive site enables legislators, elected officials, and the public to access and filter detailed financial information the state was awarded for COVID-19 relief funds.

“We are very proud of our collaborative work with the State of Iowa to provide constituents with innovative, citizen-centric digital government experiences,” said Carmen Easley, general manager for Tyler’s Iowa state enterprise. “We’re excited to continue driving innovation together to enhance the online government experience for residents.”

In partnership with Tyler, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet redesigned its portal for Kentucky Drivers Licensing, Vehicles, Motor Carriers, and Real ID services. The redesigned website portal, drive.ky.gov, provides residents and driving professionals with a one-stop shop for everything related to driving in Kentucky.

“We are thrilled to help bring recognition to our long-time partner, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet,” said Carlos Luna, general manager for Tyler’s Kentucky state enterprise. “We look forward to continued collaboration in our shared mission of enhancing the quality of life for Kentuckians.”
