Parque Arauco S.A. (PARAUCO.SN) announces that the Board of Directors has appointed Eduardo Pérez Marchant as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Eduardo Pérez joined Parque Arauco in 2013 as Corporate Head of Finance, then served as Country Manager Colombia prior to assuming his role as the CEO of the International Division (Peru and Colombia) at the beginning of 2019. His previous experience includes management consulting at McKinsey & Company and equity portfolio management at Santander Asset Management.
Eduardo Pérez earned an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He received his undergraduate degree in Commercial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where he also served as a professor of Negotiation Strategies for seven years.
