SOMERSET, NJ, January 24, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sathyadeepak ("Deepak") Ramesh, MD, FACS, has been recognized as a 2025 Castle Connolly Top Doctor, the second year he has received the esteemed Top Doctor honor. Dr. Ramesh is a highly trained ophthalmologist (eye doctor) with special expertise in performing facial plastic surgery, particularly surgery of the eyelids, face, neck, and orbit. He performs both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the eyelids and face, many minimally invasive.
Dr. Ramesh founded The Center for Eye and Facial Plastic Surgery in 2020, which has locations in Somerset and Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Ramesh's oculoplastics training allows him to perform elegant and safe blepharoplasty procedures for eyelid rejuvenation. His additional training and membership in the Facial Plastic Surgery Society afford him further expertise in dealing with aesthetic face and neck conditions to deliver long-lasting and beautiful results.
Dr. Ramesh also has a special passion for caring for people with thyroid eye disease (TED), a complex and relatively common condition that can be challenging to manage. TED specialists are rare, and patients often experience many roadblocks to obtaining the care they need. Dr. Ramesh has developed and refined the "TED Reset" — a customized surgery including a combination of orbital decompression and other facial aesthetic and reconstructive procedures to help restore patients' appearances to how they were prior to the onset of TED.
Dr. Ramesh's office is conducting the latest clinical trials for non-surgical treatment of TED, including IGF-1 therapies and others.
Dr. Ramesh also performs cosmetic procedures that include eyelid surgery/blepharoplasty; eyebrow lift; eyelid-bag surgery; double-eyelid surgery ("Asian-eyelid surgery"); facial contouring; facelifts; and neck lifts.
He offers non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including skin resurfacing and injections of dermal fillers and neuromodulators such as BOTOX®.

In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Ramesh has served since 2018 as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at Thomas Jefferson University's Sidney Kimmel Medical College.
