Richardson Electronics, Ltd. (NASDAQ: RELL), a specialized international distributor of radio frequency (RF) and microwave components, today announced that Avago Technologies has selected Richardson to distribute its wireless products in the European market. Effective immediately, this is an expansion of Avago’s existing distribution agreement with Richardson, which previously covered Southeast Asia, Japan, and the entire western hemisphere.
As a specialized Distribution Partner, Richardson will supply Avago’s wireless product portfolio to customers throughout Europe. Avago RF/microwave devices provide solutions for all base station, repeater, RF data terminal and handset designs. Benefits include small packages, superb power efficiency and industry-leading performance specifications. Avago products include RFICs, transistors, both Schottky and PIN diodes, and millimeter wave integrated circuits (MMICs).
