Okinawa Protesters Urge U.S. Troops to Get Out

On June 23,the Okinawa Memorial Day, some Okinawa protesters hand held sign boards near the parliament building in Tokyo, to call for withdraw of U.S. troops out of Okinawa and Japan.A vehicle carrying slogans was also moving around in the parliament region to protest the long existence of U.S. military bases in Okinawa. Peace movement in Okinawa has been running for years but 70% of U.S. military bases in Japan are located in region.
