Oteko Group Incorporates New Production Systems

Oteko Group has announced that it has started to introduce a new production system at its enterprises. The new concept is aimed at improving resource management and manufacturing with ongoing efficiency increases based on continued monitoring.

The new production system tools introduced at the facilities of the Oteko Group are among the most modern in the world and are in complete compliance with international safety standards. The main approaches applied in the system focus on reducing waste of resources and eliminating unnecessary operations for cutting costs and delivering end value to customers. Oteko currently applies the system under the OPS, or Oteko Production System term.

The new system also facilitates routine production line checks, allowing management to receive real-time feedback on operations from line employees for immediate introduction of improvements in the production process. The system also entails the introduction of a safety contact function, which prevents accidents at the workplace and reduces risks to employees.

The new framework foresees the start of all production meetings with an extensive discussion of operations and analysis of surveys. Such an approach fosters professional development and engagement of employees into the process. Since each employee can provide suggestions on operational improvements, management can reward them with up to 5% of the economic impact of the introduced measures as an annual bonus. The approach has yielded results, as 76 suggestions were provided by employees since the introduction of the feedback form. 9 of the ideas were implemented as a result, with 16 more still under review.

Oteko Group, which is the company founded by Michel Litvak billionaire, pays great attention to employee engagement and provides numerous incentives to encourage their involvement in the continued improvement of the company. Michel Litvak has personally overseen the introduction of the new system and stressed that its implementation is another step in the ongoing development of the company, ensuring its growth and the improvement of conditions for all employees.
