The credential makes Tang the second Certified CMMC Assessor on Intech Hawaii’s team, and one of only three in Hawaii.
The designation reflects a rigorous qualification process that includes formal training, testing, and adherence to strict conduct and conflict-of-interest standards set by ISACA. CMMC Certified Assessors are authorized to evaluate organizations against Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements, a Department of Defense mandate for contractors and subcontractors that handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
The announcement also reinforces a distinction Intech Hawaii already holds: the company is the only CMMC Level 2 certified managed services provider in Hawaii. Having met the same requirements, it helps clients prepare for. No other MSP in the region can point to that combination — an organization that has been through its own CMMC Level 2 assessment, paired with in-house assessor-level expertise on staff.
