KML Psychological Services has extended an open invitation to anyone struggling with mental health to book a free 15-minute consultation and explore the available options.
The Florida-based practice is led by Dr. Kelsey Latimer. She began her journey in psychology in 2003, moving halfway across the country to train under some of the nation's leading experts in assessment, pediatrics, eating disorders, and trauma.
Over the past 14 years as a licensed psychologist, Dr. Latimer has provided direct clinical care and spent more than a decade helping to lead and develop some of the most well-known treatment centers across the U.S.
In 2022, she opened KML Psychological Services to bring a more personalized, evidence-based approach to patient care. She offers clients the depth and quality of treatment typically found in higher levels of care with the flexibility and attentiveness of private practice.
Dr. Kelsey is skilled in various techniques and skills, including EMDR, DBT, CBT, person-centered, and interpersonal process work. She always focuses on a strengths-based approach. She is a PSYPACT licensed clinical psychologist, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, a Certified School Psychologist, a Qualified Supervisor (QS) in the state of Florida, and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Supervisor for IAEDP.
Dr. Kelsey has presented with over 50 invited presentations on topics such as body image, dieting downfalls, eating disorders, and more, earning her features in dozens of media outlets, including Time, Teen Vogue, Forbes, Women's Health print magazine, and many others.
KML Psychological Services offers individual and family therapy sessions. Some of the top areas the team specializes in include trauma, eating disorders, psychological or neuropsychological testing, and dealing with women's issues.
“If there is enough interest, we would consider holding a group therapy experience for certain topics,” the team stated, adding, “Because we believe strongly in making care accessible, some of our providers currently accept insurance. At this time, that includes Aetna.”
