Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today announced the launch of Sidecar X, marking the latest evolution in its Sidecar platform connecting insurance capital with complex transactional risk and offering up to $200 million in capacity. The Global Sidecar Platform spans representation and warranties and tax insurance products and provides a streamlined experience through pre-agreed underwriting and claims frameworks, delivering a 10% premium discount.

As transaction solutions markets continue to evolve, deals are becoming larger, more complex and increasingly dependent on sophisticated risk transfer solutions and capacity availability. At the same time, insurers and capital are becoming increasingly selective and disciplined amid a rapidly changing environment. In response, Aon developed Sidecar X to combine insurer capital, proprietary analytics and global market expertise, delivering dedicated, pre-agreed capacity and more differentiated outcomes for clients across mergers and acquisitions and tax products globally.

"As transaction risks become increasingly complex, our clients need greater clarity and solutions that help them navigate an evolving market,” said Christian Hoffmann, CEO of Commercial Risk, Aon. "Sidecar X demonstrates our commitment to delivering differentiated risk solutions that help clients achieve better outcomes."

Available exclusively to Aon clients, Sidecar X delivers streamlined underwriting and claims processes through pre-negotiated, delegated frameworks, while providing expanded access to dedicated global insurance capacity and meaningful premium savings. For participating insurers and reinsurers, the platform provides a disciplined, analytics-led approach to diversified transactional risk, enabling more informed underwriting decisions and scalable, sustained capital deployment.

The launch reflects Aon’s commitment to developing market-leading solutions that strengthen connectivity between insurers, reinsurers and clients, while delivering better outcomes across the transaction solutions insurance ecosystem.

“By combining Aon’s proprietary data, analytics and global market expertise, we’re unlocking new sources of insurance capital and opening new pathways to markets, delivering differentiated value," said Martyn Chattey, Chief Broking Officer, Americas, Aon. “Success will increasingly depend on connecting the right capital with the right portfolio. Sidecar X represents the next evolution of that model, enabling insurers to deploy capital with greater confidence while helping clients execute complex transactions with conviction.”

Simon Tesselment, Chief Broking Officer, EMEA, Aon, added: “This evolved platform brings together dedicated capacity with Aon's global broking expertise to help clients secure coverage more efficiently for the full spectrum of transactions, no matter how large or complex.”

Sidecar X is available in regions including US, Canada, UK, EEA and Asia, across representations and warranties and tax insurance products.
