United States Investing Championship Ten-Month Results

The United States Investing Championship today announced the leaders for the first ten months of 2022. Three hundred sixteen top traders participated, but only 26, or 8%, reported profits, according to contest organizer, Dr. Norman Zadeh. The United States Investing Championship is a real money, verified competition that allows up-and-coming traders to showcase their talent on the world stage. Prior top performers include Paul Tudor Jones, Louis Bacon, Mark Minervini, and David Ryan. Participants specify an account number at the beginning of the year for tracking purposes and use their brokerage statements to verify performance.

Leading the $1,000,000+ stock division with a ten-month return of + 18.2% is Sam Bhatia, from New York City. In comparison, the S&P 500 was down 17% for the first ten months of 2022. Mr. Bhatia is a graduate of Columbia Business School and the Indian Institute of Technology. He is a former investment banker who has been actively managing money since 2020. Mr. Yousefizad previously worked as a senior risk and business analyst for CIBC and TD, two Canadian banks in Toronto. In the enhanced growth division, among traders with accounts of less than $1,000,000, the leader is Hieu Tong + 106%, from Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Tong was born in Vietnam and is currently a part-time physician. He graduated from the University of Louisville. Second is Dan Dubyk, + 96.6%, from Philadelphia. The other entrants reporting profits are Vishal B. Malkan + 44.8%, Miroslav Gnjatović + 31.7%, and Pierre M. Fiorini + 5.6%.
