John M. Dionisio, Jr. Joins GISI to Develop Public Infrastructure Platform and Explore Innovative Initiatives

Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI) today announced that John M. Dionisio, Jr. has joined the engineering, construction management and consulting platform company in the new role of Managing Director for Corporate Development to grow GISI’s exposure to public infrastructure projects and other innovative sectors. A former partner at Meridiam, a Paris-based investor and asset manager specializing in public-private partnership (P3) projects, Mr. Dionisio has extensive experience in developing and investing in transformational P3 projects across global transportation, social infrastructure, utility and environmental sectors.

During his tenure at Meridiam, Mr. Dionisio had involvement in numerous, high-profile infrastructure projects and investments, including the $8 billion LaGuardia Airport, New York City central terminal redevelopment; the $1 billion Central 70 Project in Denver; the 531,000-square-foot Long Beach, CA courthouse complex; and the University of Iowa’s centralized or district energy facility that powers more than 370 buildings on a 2,000-acre main campus.

He will continue to sit on the Meridiam North America investment committee and remain active with major industry associations, including his role on the executive committee of the New York League of Conservation Voters Education Fund.
