NEW YORK, NY / ACCESS Newswire / September 30, 2026 / MedSyntra Inc., a provider of sovereign medical AI data infrastructure, today announced the launch of its China Healthcare AI Infrastructure Market Readiness Initiative, a structured programme to evaluate potential future pathways for engagement with healthcare institutions, research organizations, technology partners and other relevant stakeholders in China.

The initiative reflects MedSyntra's view that China's continued development in biotechnology, medical technology, precision medicine, medical imaging and healthcare artificial intelligence makes it an important market to understand from both an innovation and infrastructure perspective.

MedSyntra's initial work will focus on understanding how its approach to secure data ingestion, standardization, de-identification, governance, auditability and controlled AI access may align with the requirements of Chinese healthcare institutions and the country's evolving data-governance environment.

"China has become one of the most important global centres for biotechnology, medical technology and artificial intelligence," said Asta Ratkeviciene, Chief Executive Officer of MedSyntra. "Its healthcare ecosystem is developing at considerable scale and speed. At the same time, the importance placed on data security, institutional control and responsible deployment makes it essential that any engagement is approached carefully, respectfully and in accordance with local requirements."

MedSyntra's infrastructure model is designed to enable healthcare institutions and national health systems to activate the value of medical data without transferring ownership or compromising sovereignty. The company supports on-premise, sovereign-cloud and hybrid deployment models, with data remaining governed by the originating institution and relevant national authorities.

"China's progress in biotech, medtech and AI creates an important strategic opportunity to examine how advanced health-data infrastructure can support responsible innovation at scale," said Dr George Syrmalis, Non-Executive Director of MedSyntra. "However, this is not simply a technology question. It is a question of governance, institutional trust, regulatory alignment and ensuring that data remains subject to appropriate national and institutional control."

The China Healthcare AI Infrastructure Market Readiness Initiative will initially involve market analysis, regulatory and operating-model assessment, and dialogue with appropriate potential institutional and strategic stakeholders. MedSyntra does not currently announce a commercial launch, customer relationship, partnership, technology deployment or transfer of medical data in China.

Any future activity in China would be subject to the completion of appropriate due diligence, engagement with qualified local advisers and partners, applicable regulatory requirements, and the relevant institutional and governmental approvals.
