HarmonyRx CEO Recognized for Leadership in Pharmacy Benefits Innovation and Transparency

New York, New York--(Newsfile Corp. - August 6, 2026) - HarmonyRx is proud to announce that its Chief Executive Officer, Joseph N. Savasta, has been selected as a recipient of the 2026 PBMI Innovator Award, presented by the Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute (PBMI) and Managed Healthcare Executive.

The PBMI Innovator Award recognizes individuals who are driving meaningful change within the pharmacy benefits industry through innovation, leadership and a commitment to improving outcomes for employers, health plans and members.

Savasta was selected as one of only six recipients nationwide for his contributions to advancing a more transparent, clinically driven approach to pharmacy benefits through HarmonyRx.

Founded on the belief that pharmacy benefits should be aligned with the interests of clients and members, HarmonyRx has challenged traditional PBM models by emphasizing transparency, proactive clinical oversight and continuous optimization. Under Savasta's leadership, our organization has focused on helping employers better manage rising pharmacy costs while improving member experiences and health outcomes.

"It is an honor to receive this recognition from PBMI and Managed Healthcare Executive," said Savasta. "This award reflects the dedication of the entire HarmonyRx team and our shared commitment to building a pharmacy benefits model that prioritizes transparency, clinical integrity and long-term value."

With more than two decades of experience in pharmacy benefits, Savasta has been a strong advocate for industry practices that promote accountability, aligned incentives and meaningful cost management. His leadership has helped position HarmonyRx as a trusted partner to employers, brokers, consultants, TPA's and health plans seeking alternatives to traditional PBM approaches.

As part of the recognition, Savasta will be featured in the August 2026 issue of Managed Healthcare Executive, highlighted on the publication's website and recognized at the PBMI Annual National Conference.

"Joseph's vision has always been centered on doing what's right for clients and members," said Gregory Esemplare, Chief Operating Officer of HarmonyRx. "His commitment to transparency, innovation and continuous improvement has helped shape the culture of HarmonyRx and the value we deliver every day."
