Juelz Davenport is making waves with his creative and writing talents in poetry. He is a well-known and famous name for his spoken words and proved himself as a rising star. With his excellent writing skills, he has been featured on several network and radio programs.
Known for his famous book, “In My Eyes,” resonates with a hip, urban diction and cadence. In a while, he thrived in the fast-paced on-set environment and penned some 50 poems, all meditations on the hardships of life on the streets, jail, and violence. His poems are anchored to a resolve that the writer has the power to change his life. He brings enthusiasm, integrity, and a relentless pursuit of excellence to every project by eagerly contributing to captivating storytelling.
Fueled by a natural love for writing, Davenport embarked on his journey with the aim of expanding his horizons. The talented Harrisburg man stunned his fans by immersing himself in prestigious radio programs, including WITF’s Smart Talk, and Harrisburg’s popular Life Esteem TV Show hosted by Nathaniel and Patricia Gadsden.
In addition, he is an emerging published author, his writings have appeared in local and regional magazines and newspapers. Davenport’s ability to connect with young people of all sorts including school-aged children and teens and even the college level. And now he is seeking schools and youth programs to contract with. He wanted to leave something behind that was inspirational, motivational for youth.
Due to his background with the justice system, Davenport is now moved to teach other youths in similar circumstances. Hence, the following appearances at area juvenile and detention centers where he is known for his ability to connect with others:

About Juelz Davenport:
Raised by a single mom, Davenport, is an innovative creative writing instructor and street poet with more than 10 years of experience in spoken word. He grew up in Harrisburg but moved to Middletown in middle school. He eventually earned a diploma from Middletown Area High School. After high school, Davenport went off to Rhode Island, seeking to connect with his father, instead he got into trouble with drugs.
Living in Harrisburg Pennsylvania, Davenport now aims to engage aspiring poets and expand its client base through spoken words.
