Hollywood’s Newest And Hottest Director Makes His Directorial Debut On His Own Project. Written, Directed, And Starring The Young King Himself, King William

Filmmaker and director King William is no novice in creating great cinema. He has built a great resume in the entertainment industry for over ten years. Having studied filmmaking at Los Angeles Film school and working in the field for several years, he has devoted himself to directing, writing, and acting.

Now excited to debut a passion project of his own, King William brings us his first feature film, The Ramen. A film he wrote, directed, and starred in as lead Detective Dunkin. This is not the first project King has written and directed, but it is his featured film debut.

The Ramen

Here is a story of a resolute undercover officer, Detective Dunkin, who colors outside the lines. He does what he wants, and he gets the job done. With pressure being placed on his superior, Chief Moore, things are about to change for Dunkin. He gains a partner and a pain in newcomer, Detective Steven Brian McGaull. Eager and living by the book, Steven finds every way to get under Dunkin’s skin while Dunkin is trying every way to find Sweet Tooth Tony and all the ramen noodles In LA. Sweet Tooth Tony has his problems when the Deadly Lotus Viper Gang gets in the mix for their share of the ramen profits. One thing leads to another, and after chases, shootings, gang fights, and even a kidnapping, Dunkin and Steven prevail, and the ramen is returned to the hungry citizens.

This film was made in under 30 days, with a budget of $20,000. The cast and six-person crew became a tight-knit and diligent group, thus adding to the film's energy. Plenty of ad-libs, improvised lines and scenes, and on-the-spot thinking became the film's glue. Filmed on a Black Magic 4k and a Sony A7-III and edited in-house. The score and soundtrack consist of original musical compositions, and foley was done in-house.

“My first featured film experience was all more than I could hope for not only did I direct and write, but I also starred in the ramen. I had a cast and crew to lighten the load off my shoulders to help me perform all my duties. Not only that, but we also received so much love from Los Angeles as if it were meant to be the right place, right time, and good energy. Thank God for giving me the tools to bless me to perform and execute and turn my dreams into reality. Stay tuned for the exclusive first feature film, The Ramen, and stay cool like dat.”- King William
