RetailFirst Insurance Group (“RFIG”) and its insurance companies, RetailFirst Insurance Company (“RetailFirst”) and BusinessFirst Insurance Company (“BusinessFirst”), announced today, in conjunction with Summit Consulting, LLC (“Summit”), that the parties have mutually decided to end their relationship and have entered into a Transition Services Agreement. RetailFirst and BusinessFirst have partnered with Integrated Specialty Coverages (“ISC”) to be their managing general agency beginning in the third quarter of 2026.

During this transition period, Summit will continue to act as the managing general agency for RetailFirst and BusinessFirst. All risks underwritten by Summit for RetailFirst and BusinessFirst will be serviced by Summit through policy expiration. Summit will also continue to manage claims associated with any policy it wrote for RetailFirst and BusinessFirst for three years after the transition period ends. RFIG and Summit are committed to making this a seamless transition for independent agencies, policyholders and injured employees.

This change will not impact any business Summit underwrites or manages on behalf of its affiliated insurance companies, Bridgefield Casualty Insurance Company, Bridgefield Employers Insurance Company and Bridgefield Indemnity Insurance Company.
