Honors go to two attorneys, firm’s eDiscovery practice and Dallas-area litigation team

Hilgers PLLC, a commercial litigation and discovery counsel law firm with offices across the country, has earned national and local honors for the firm and two of its attorneys from Chambers USA, the prestigious legal guide compiled by the worldwide legal analysis firm Chambers & Partners.

The firm was rated nationally by Chambers USA for its eDiscovery and Information Governance services and for its General Commercial Litigation practice in Dallas-Fort Worth.

In addition, partner Rose Hunter Jones was included in Chambers USA’s Nationwide Band 1, the highest rating possible, for eDiscovery and Information Governance.

Harry Dorcy, a partner in the Denver office, was selected to Chambers USA’s Up- and-Coming list for his work in eDiscovery and Information Governance.

“Litigation today increasingly sits at the intersection of law, technology and data,” said CEO Heather Hilgers. “These rankings reflect the sophisticated work our attorneys are doing to help clients navigate that evolving landscape at the highest level. We are especially proud to see Rose and Harry recognized for the leadership and innovation they continue to bring to our eDiscovery and legal technology practice.”

Ms. Jones helps global business leaders manage legal and technical issues, including data breach responses and government investigations, and represents pharmaceutical and commercial products manufacturers. She is also a contributor to The Sedona Conference, a research and educational institute that focuses on issues surrounding artificial intelligence and the law. Client testimonials to Chambers describe Rose as a “brilliant attorney” who “makes her clients feel like a priority.”

Mr. Dorcy has more than 12 years of experience in digital discovery practice, with a specialization in digital forensics and structured data analytics, helping clients efficiently collect, analyze and preserve data. Chambers spoke with one of his clients, who described him as an “outstanding” attorney in terms of his breadth of knowledge and use of cutting-edge technology and applications.

The recognition marks the second consecutive year Chambers USA has honored the firm’s Dallas location.

“Our Dallas office has experienced tremendous growth in a short period of time, both in talent and the sophistication of matters we handle,” said Grant Schmidt, the Dallas managing partner. “This recognition from Chambers reflects the strong foundation our team has built and the momentum we continue to see in the market.”

“Where Hilgers truly shines is in its dedication to transparency and ability to listen to concerns and craft a strategy that aligns our approach with the reality of the situation,” one client shared with Chambers during its review process.

London-based Chambers and Partners publishes its Chambers USA guide annually, selecting honorees based on technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence and commitment.

Hilgers PLLC is certified by the National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF), making it the largest certified women-owned law firm in the nation.
