“Unearthing Optimism” podcast explores hope, nature, and the future of the planet

Dr. Vivek Shandas, Portland State University professor and climate resilience researcher, joins the Arbor Day Foundation in episode six of its new podcast, “Unearthing Optimism.”

In a conversation with CEO and host Dan Lambe, Dr. Shandas talks about the science and impact of urban heat islands. He also shares personal, real-life stories of resilience in the face of record-breaking heat.
