Backed by a leading endowment partner, SkyBeam introduces a new venture model offering global investors scalable access to Israel’s fund and company formations

SkyBeam Venture Partners today announced the launch of its inaugural $250 million early-stage fund, designed to support Israel’s next generation of venture managers and technology founders amid significant shifts in the global technology market. The firm invests in funds that are targeting pre-seed and seed-stage startups while also making later-stage investments in breakout companies emerging from these funds. SkyBeam offers institutional investors a differentiated and scalable platform to access Israel’s innovation economy and venture landscape.

SkyBeam is led by Co-Founders Daniel Benel, Founder of Tenere Capital, and Gabby Czertok, Founder of the Tel Aviv–based innovation platform The Builders. SkyBeam focuses on investments across foundational technology sectors, including AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, quantum computing and other deep technologies critical to global innovation, security, and resilience.

“The greatest alpha in Israel’s venture market is created at the earliest stages of company formation, an opportunity that has historically been difficult for global investors to access at scale,” said Daniel Benel, Co-Founder of SkyBeam Venture Partners. “We launched SkyBeam to build an institutional-grade platform that gives global investors access to Israel’s most innovative founders at inception.”

“A new generation of Israeli managers is building venture firms differently, often outside traditional institutional frameworks,” said Gabby Czertok, Co-Founder of SkyBeam Venture Partners. “SkyBeam was built to support that shift, helping GPs focus on execution while providing a disciplined, transparent way to engage with Israel’s innovation economy.”

SkyBeam emphasizes world-class governance and transparency, giving investors trusted access to early-stage Israeli technology opportunities that are often difficult to source independently.

The fund is backed by scaled endowment capital and supported by a senior advisory board led by Aaron Stone, formerly of Apollo Global Management, with members including Sam Lessin of Slow Ventures and Wesley Friedman of Pumada Investments. LionTree will serve as an advisor and investor to SkyBeam Venture Partners, supporting strategic development and global connectivity.
