WhiteHawk Capital Partners Announces Hiring of Joseph “Joe” Wells as Managing Director

WhiteHawk Capital Partners, a private credit investment manager, is pleased to announce that Joseph “Joe” Wells has joined the firm as Managing Director. He will be based out of the firm’s Ponte Vedra, Florida office.

Joe Wells brings over 20 years of experience in middle market and corporate originations and credit investing with a particular focus on asset based lending opportunities. Most recently, Joe spent three years originating senior secured and split lien, FILO and unitranche asset-based financings on behalf of SLR Credit Solutions (formerly known as Crystal Financial).

Prior to that, Joe spent 18 years at Wells Fargo Capital Finance (successor to Wells Fargo Foothill), where he focused on asset based and recurring revenue software loans.

“Joe’s expertise in sourcing ABL transactions and credit underwriting will contribute to the firm’s continued growth following the recent closing of our fourth fund and evergreen fund,” said John Ahn, Managing Partner of WhiteHawk Capital. “We have worked with Joe while he was at Wells Fargo and SLR Credit Solutions and we are extremely excited to have him a part of the WhiteHawk team.”
