The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Octapharma Plasma, Inc. with respect to their recent data breach. Octapharma experienced a ransomware attack in April 2024 resulting in a shutdown of 150+ donation centers. BlackSuit took credit for the attack. Octapharma has not released any details regarding the data breach. On September 4, 2024, Octapharma reported the data breach to the Texas Attorney General.
