The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into CBIZ Benefits & Insurance Services, Inc. (“CBIZ”) with respect to their recent data breach. Between June 2, 2024, and June 21, 2024, CBIZ’s network experienced an unauthorized cybersecurity incident. Upon discovery, CBIZ immediately launched an investigation into the incident. After reviewing the impacted data gathered during the investigation, CBIZ determined that certain individuals’ sensitive and personal information was accessed. On August 28, 2024, CBIZ began mailing notification letters.
