The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Center for Urban Community Services (“CUCS”) with respect to their recent data breach. Between September 4, 2023, and September 10, 2023, CUCS experienced a cybersecurity incident. An unauthorized third-party potentially accessed and acquired sensitive and personal information. Around June 21, 2024, CUCS concluded its investigation and around July 3, 2024, began notifying potentially affected persons. The information possibly exposed may include name, address, Social Security number, telephone number, date of birth, benefit identification number, health information, and prescription information.
