Federman & Sherwood investigates Clay Platte Family Medicine, Summit Family and Sports Medicine Clinic, Cobblestone Family Medicine Clinic, and Barry Pointe Family Medicine Clinic (“the Clinics”) for data breach. On October 18, 2024, the Clinics filed notice of a data breach with the Attorney General of Maine. The Clinics experienced a cybersecurity incident involving their network on June 26, 2024. The Clinics immediately launched an investigation into the incident. On September 10, 2024, after a thorough review of the information gathered during the investigation, it was determined that certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information was exposed and/or acquired.

The type of information potentially exposed includes:

• Full Name
• Social Security Number
• Date of Birth
• Address
• Health Insurance Information
• Other Sensitive Information

The Clinics began mailing notices to the affected individuals on October 17, 2024.

The Clinics provides comprehensive medical care and is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri.
