JAKKS Pacific Announces Multi-Year Renewal for Global Rights to ‘Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood’

JAKKS Pacific, Inc. (NASDAQ: JAKK), the leading toy and consumer products manufacturer, announced today a multi-year renewal with Fred Rogers Productions and 9 Story Brands for rights to the beloved children’s brand and Emmy®-winning hit PBS KIDS series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. Under the agreement, JAKKS will continue to design, manufacture, market, and sell figures, plush, role-play items, and vehicles for this leading pre-school brand.

The license renewal provides JAKKS with additional opportunities to expand its offerings for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, a top preschool license for the company, in 2022, when the series celebrates 10 years on PBS KIDS. Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood has consistently been one of the most-watched PBS KIDS series since its launch and was most recently the highest-rated program for children 2-8 for both linear viewing and streaming. The series is also regularly the most streamed PBS KIDS series, with an average of 52 million monthly streams in 2021.*
