Stepping into the Linyi International Trade Center, the 1,500-square-meter International Trade Service Hall features multiple functional areas, including a service zone for overseas commerce, a service area for foreigners coming to China, and an immigration service area, all providing one-stop, full-process foreign trade service support for enterprises.

This year, the Lanshan District of Linyi City has marked internationalization of the commerce market as its “number one project,” focusing on creating Linyi’s first international trade center with a complete foreign trade ecosystem. The center adopts a model of “one platform, eight centers,” integrating functions including foreign trade aggregation, cross-border e-commerce, international communication, foreign-related services, international logistics, international exhibitions, international product selection, and talent incubation, thereby establishing a comprehensive and multi-layered foreign trade service system.
“Since the establishment of the service zone, we have provided overseas commerce consultation and service processing for over 310 enterprises,” said Cheng Cheng, a consultant and guide at the overseas commerce service area. By implementing reforms in cross-border trade management known as “one thing,” the district has integrated five items, including customs registration for import and export consignees, and electronic port card applications into a single process, achieving “one form, one set of materials, one window acceptance, one network declaration, and one-time processing.”
The International Trade Service Hall began trial operations in October this year, consolidating 15 departments and 114 items, covering the “four foreign” fields of foreign investment, foreign trade, foreign economic affairs, and foreign nationals. So far, it has handled 668 cases of foreign-related business and provided 425 consultation services. This service hall acts as a hub, allowing domestic and foreign merchants to “enter one door and complete all tasks.”
At the Linyi International Trade Center, businesses can not only handle foreign trade affairs in one place but also conveniently select products from 136 specialized wholesale markets in Linyi. The International Product Selection Center has planned 16 themed exhibition halls, with manufacturers already settled in 11 of them. Among these, the Africa Pavilion has attracted over 50 manufacturers showcasing a rich variety of products, including second-hand electric vehicles, vegetable seeds, and tea cups, while the Industrial Products Pavilion displays various industrial items like screws, hinges, and bearings. “It takes nearly half a month to visit all 136 wholesale markets in Linyi, but you can tour these 16 halls in just half a day,” said Wang Jisheng, the head of the Linyi International Trade Center.
It is reported that the Linyi International Trade Center integrates talent, products, entities, policies, and services, covering six major functions: international reception, international trade, digital innovation, sci-tech incubation, product launches, and trade upgrading and transformation. It deeply integrates the production chain, supply chain, distribution chain, as well as warehousing, logistics, legal services, translation, finance, taxation, and comprehensive foreign trade services, attracting more foreign trade entities to gather in the Linyi commerce market.
