Spanish Fork, UT - OSH Cut announced that its second U.S. factory is nearing operation in the Cincinnati metropolitan area, marking a planned expansion of the company's on-demand metal fabrication capacity. The company said it plans to invest $10 million to equip the 70,000-square-foot facility and expects the expansion to create approximately 70 jobs.

OSH Cut provides an online ordering model for custom sheet metal and tube parts. Customers can upload CAD files through the company's platform to receive pricing, manufacturability feedback and lead-time options before placing an order.

According to the company, the new facility is expected to expand production capacity outside Utah and improve service for customers east of the Mississippi River, which account for 43 percent of OSH Cut's current client base.

"Cincinnati is a strong location because it gives us one- to two-day ground shipping proximity to a large share of our customers," said Caleb Chamberlain, CEO of OSH Cut. "The additional facility is expected to help reduce shipping times and costs while supporting the customer experience."

Chamberlain said the expansion reflects the company's continued growth and demand from customers outside the western United States.

"We appreciate the customers who have ordered from us despite our current location in Utah," Chamberlain said. "With this expansion, we expect to be closer to customers in the eastern United States and provide faster access to custom metal parts."

OSH Cut's services include sheet metal cutting, brake bending, metal finishing, tapping, countersinking, hardware insertion, tube laser cutting, CNC tube bending and powder coating. The company serves customers across multiple industries, including manufacturers, engineers, businesses and members of the DIY community.
