Nationally recognized population health leader joins Apex to strengthen operations and accelerate value-based care growth

HOUSTON, TX / ACCESS Newswire / October 27, 2025 / Apex Health, a tech-enabled management services organization (MSO) that enhances the enterprise value of health systems, today announced the appointment of Ruth Krystopolski, MBA, as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In this new role, Krystopolski will oversee enterprise operations and execution across Apex's growing health system partnerships.

Krystopolski brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience across some of the nation's largest health systems, with a track record of advancing population health strategies, building provider-sponsored health plans, and driving sustainable performance under value-based care. She most recently served as President of Ayin Health Solutions and Senior Vice President at Providence Health, where she built a population health MSO that achieved 75% revenue growth while maintaining strong margins. Previously, Krystopolski held senior leadership roles at Atrium Health, CHRISTUS Health, and Sanford Health, where she scaled one of the country's largest provider-sponsored health plans to more than $1.2 billion in revenue.
