Mr. Grogan's career spans decades of service, from his time as a special agent in the U.S. Army and U.S. Coast Guard to leadership roles in local law enforcement. His educational background includes diplomas in Law Enforcement Leadership from the LAPD West Point Leadership Academy and the FBI National Academy, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from Saint Mary's College of California. Throughout his career, Mr. Grogan has emphasized the importance of leadership and serving the community. While he retired back in March from the sheriff's office, Mr. Grogan still works part time as he remains dedicated to the people of San Mateo.
