International Disputes Expert Joins Huron Consulting Group

Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of financial and operational consulting services, today announced that Timothy H. Hart has joined the Company. He will assume the title of vice president, Financial and Economic Consulting Services.

With the turmoil in the world markets, there will be an increased need for experts to address complex financial issues in arbitration and other legal forums. Tims experience and knowledge in this area will prove invaluable to our clients, said Gary E. Holdren, chairman and chief executive officer, Huron Consulting Group. We look forward to Tims leadership as Huron continues to expand its service offerings in the U.S., U.K. and other international locations.

Hart specializes in international disputes and investigations. He is well-known for solving highly complicated internal investigations and complex financial issues in dispute. Hart comes to Huron from Navigant Consulting, where he was a managing director and co-leader of the Disputes and Investigations practice. Before Navigant Consulting, he was a partner with Arthur Andersen. Hart also provides expert testimony in accounting and damages in both domestic and international forums. Hart was the testifying expert in a case that resulted in the largest investment treaty damages award in history. A certified public accountant (CPA) and certified fraud examiner (CFE), he received a BA in business administration from the University of Notre Dame. Hart will be based in Hurons Washington D.C. office.
