As part of their commitment to helping the community, On the Go Moving & Storage are the active agent that will provide storage and distribution for hundreds of Girl Scout cookies that will allow the volunteers to have quick easy access to needed product right in their local area. On the Go Moving & Storage will be involved in the distribution of large quantities of cookies to areas that have less resources and cannot actively reach the product they need for their branches of Girl Scouts in more remote areas.
Girl Scout cookie sales will occur all across the Washington state area, however most of the deliveries and activity will be in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties, but On the Go Moving trucks will venture further, if necessary.
On the Go Moving & Storage will begin receiving product in December. The company will initiate the distribution crew and volunteers on January 1st, and will continue helping with the project, estimated to complete in March, 2023
The sales of Girl Scout cookies is an annual fundraising event across the nation, and On the Go Moving & Storage is proud to be involved in the effort.
Each division of Girl Scout groups will have access to as much product as they need with immediate availability during their selling season. The storage, distribution and availability of product is needed as it is difficult to forecast which specific areas will sell through and which will not. The facilities and staff at On the Go Moving & Storage are also open for the volunteers everyday as well as being available to assist with inventory, logs and loading of vehicles. OTG will also be providing same day delivery services for large events and any unforeseen hurdles Girls Scouts may run into.
