The stunning move by US-based author and writer McKenna Hunter is targeted at laying more emphasis on the fun in fundamental reading for children.
For McKenna, the goal is to be a people’s author and she strives to actualize this goal by engaging in diversity and connecting people which she incorporates as part of her vision statement, “Better Together Siempre”, which means Better Together Always.

On each day of the week set aside by the author, she made donations to organizations such as UNICEF, NAMI, Shriner’s, CHOP, and Veterans of Foreign Wars to mention a few.
In keeping step with her goal of becoming a people's author, McKenna Hunter is currently working on several book projects that reflect and sums up her interests. She also intends to experiment with various genres and literary forms.

McKenna Hunter is a debut author from the Northeast and casually began to jot down her stories between classes — or sometimes during class — as a university undergraduate. Even though she has a background in the social sciences, her eyes have always shined the brightest for storytelling.
Growing up military, McKenna was accustomed to and valued diversity in all aspects of life. With that in mind, she creates characters from varying walks of life throughout her novels and children's books.
