Canada's Biggest "New Normal" Protest to Take Place in Ottawa this Saturday

By: Issuewire

Organizers are expecting 200,000 people

Ottawa, Aug 26, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Canadian civil action groups are planning Canada's biggest anti-corruption/anti-New Normal protest to date, for Saturday August 29th on Parliament Hill, Ottawa. The event is being coordinated with protests planned for the same date around the world. Other participating countries include Germany, the UK, and France, among others.

The event will start with a concert from 12:00 until 2:00, followed by speeches from 2:00 until 6:00.

The protest is sponsored and hosted by The Line Canada, which is working to coordinate grassroots groups across the country.

Protesters are demanding an end to government corruption and fully reject all elements of the "New Normal" being ushered in by global governments, including mandatory masking, restrictions on businesses, contact tracing, social distancing, mandatory vaccines, immunity passports and economic changes.

Organizer Kelly Anne Wolfe said in a statement, "We are so proud to make HISTORY as we stand together on Parliament Hill AS CANADIANS, from every province, territory, tribe, band, and colour of life, and condemn the abuse of power by this corrupt and self-serving government. Our future is our obligation".

A promotional video for the protest can be found here.
