Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ:HURN), a leading provider of financial and operational consulting services, today announced that Sean D. Angert and Mark A. Reid have joined the Company as managing directors.

Angert has more than 18 years of experience in hospital supply chain management, including developing strategies and implementing improvements to processes and technology that enhance quality, reduce costs and increase productivity. Most recently, he was founder and president of SA & Associates, a consulting company that provides clinical and operational supply chain improvement services. Prior to this, Angert served as vice president of supply chain performance improvement at Premier, Inc. During his career, he has conducted numerous strategic and operational projects at more than 100 hospitals across the country. Angert has a BS in industrial engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina. He will be based in Huron’s Chicago office.
Reid has been advising larger law firms and corporate legal departments on complex electronic discovery and computer forensics matters for nearly a decade. He has deep experience developing defensible electronic preservation methods and overseeing a number of large-scale, enterprise-wide, forensic preservation, collection, analysis and testimonial efforts. Reid has also managed forensic examinations and has led independent audit teams related to disputes. He comes to Huron from Baker Robbins & Company, where as a solution line leader, he led the Electronic Discovery and Data Forensics practice. Reid has also held various IT technical and management positions in the oil and gas industries. He has a BBA in management information systems from the University of Houston. Reid will be based in Huron’s Houston office.
