Huron Consulting Group Adds Electronic Discovery and Higher Education Experts

Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of financial and operational consulting services, today announced that Edwin W. Eisendrath and George Marinos have joined the Company as managing directors.

The addition of these two experts will help Huron to meet the growing and evolving needs of our clients in higher education consulting and those who need sophisticated e-discovery solutions, said Gary E. Holdren, chairman and chief executive officer, Huron Consulting Group. I am pleased to welcome Edwin and George to the Huron team.

Eisendrath has extensive experience leading both higher education and government institutions. At Huron, he will help develop new services and expand existing offerings in the Companys Higher Education practice. Eisendrath comes to Huron from Kendall College, where he was the vice president for academic affairs. In this role, he helped lead a financial turnaround, with direct responsibility for academics, support systems, accreditation, student life, quality control, and launching online offerings. Prior to Kendall College, he co-led the strategic and business plans and negotiated strategic partnership deals as vice president of UNext Inc. and its subsidiary, Cardean University. From 1995-1997, Eisendrath was the Midwest regional representative of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, serving as head of the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA). CHA is the nations third largest public housing authority. He is also a former Chicago Alderman. Eisendrath received his BA in psychology and social relations from Harvard University and an MA in teaching from the National College of Education. He will be based in Hurons Chicago office.

Marinos has deep experience leading the strategic development of data management and electronic discovery services, including integrating product and process technologies to assist investigative, litigation and regulatory consulting matters. He comes to Huron from Business Objects, where he was the vice president of enterprise information management services. Prior to that, Marinos was a principal, group practice leader and founding partner of the Data Management Services group at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Earlier in his career, he served as director of information systems at Watson Wyatt Worldwide, where he structured the IT organization to support the strategic requirements of each business unit. Marinos also worked at Sullivan & Cromwell where he developed an in-house precedent system, the firms IT infrastructure and tools to assist attorneys with analysis and review. Marinos has a BA in computer science from Queens College, C.U.N.Y. He will be based in Hurons New York office.
