Huron Consulting Group Adds Business Disputes Experts

Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ:HURN), a leading provider of financial and operational consulting services, today announced that David M. Leathers and Robert T. Wentland have joined the Companys Legal Financial Consulting practice as managing directors to assist clients with business disputes and litigation consulting matters.

Leathers comes to Huron from CRA International. As a vice president, he consulted to a wide variety of industries on engagements involving litigation, valuation, and other business matters to improve operations and profitability. He has served as an expert witness in matters involving business valuation, breach of contract, business interruption, intellectual property, securities, and fraud. Leathers received his BBA in Finance from Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University. He is a member of the American Society of Appraisers, National Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Society of Petroleum Engineers, and Licensing Executives Society. Leathers will be based in Hurons Houston office.

Wentland comes to Huron from Navigant Consulting where he was a managing director and led its class action employment and telecommunication litigation practices. He has more than 18 years of experience in expert accounting testimony, accounting investigations, regulatory accounting support and complex commercial litigation. Wentland has presented findings before state court and U.S. Federal Tax Court. He received his BBA in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Wentland, a certified public accountant, will be based in Hurons Chicago office.
